My thoughts: Infinite Loop

Title: Infinite Loop
Author: Meghan O'Brien
Publish Date: 14th May 2005
Format: Ebook provided by publisher for review.
My rating: 5 stars - I really enjoyed this book chances are i'll read it again.

From Goodreads:
Regan O’Riley has just about given up hope that she will ever find a woman into shy, geeky programmers. She yearns for a connection, but can't seem to make the first move. Mel Raines knows all about making moves. After a childhood under the thumb of her alcoholic father, she avoids intimacy by drowning herself in fiery, fleeting encounters with strangers.

When Regan and Mel meet in a straight bar, of all places, their chemistry is unmistakable. Before they can begin to explore their new relationship, Mel’s world is rocked when a close friend is a victim in a shooting. Regan suggests they take a road trip to escape reality for a little while, and Mel is only too ready to shake things up. Together they embark upon a physical and emotional journey where they discover that breaking free of old habits may be the only way to change your life.

My Thoughts:
What an emotional roller-coaster, I didn't expect to read about a whirlwind of insecurities, all that history wrapped up in one book. Had me hooked from the word go. Their unexpected meeting and although having not known each other long they head off on a road trip not knowing that by the end they would have emptied their baggage and be head over heels in love!

I loved all the characters, O'Brien developed them beautifully throughout the chapters, 2 completely different personality's a red headed geek in an atari t-shirt and a cop with hard a$$ attitude who both happen to end up in this whirl wind romance.

Oh and dont get me started on those steamy scenes whoa . O'Brien can seriously write a good thing or two! I can't wait to read what she writes next if its as good as this then its definitely on my TBR list!

This is my favourite Lesbian fiction to date, you definately have to check this one out!

My Thoughts: Murphy's Law

Title: Murphy's Law
Author: Yolanda Wallace
Publish Date: 8th January 2013
Format: Ebook provided by publisher for review
My Rating: 4 - This book was awesome, i'm glad I read it.

From Goodreads:
Mountain climbing guide Samantha "Sam" Murphy likes to tout her safety record. In the ten years she has led climbers on excursions up the world’s most treacherous peaks, she has never lost a client. But that doesn't mean she hasn't lost someone even more important.
Surgeon and philanthropist Olivia Bradshaw hires Sam’s company to lead her hand-picked team on a fundraising climb of Annapurna, the world’s most dangerous mountain. For Olivia, for the donors who have pledged money to her charitable foundation, and for the underprivileged masses she is seeking to help, failure is not an option.
Secrets abound and danger lurks at every elevation. Will Sam’s attraction to taciturn Sam get in the way of the expedition’s success or will Mother Nature have the final say?

My Thoughts:
Wallace tells a very convincing story as the struggle with the dangerous climb up the mountain unfolds, I'm not a non-climber, and the treacherous conditions were believable as I continued to read.

During the climb of Annapurna the 2 main characters are forced to readdress their lives and situations as the romance between them blossoms. Wallace helps us to understand the characters by including their history, however heart wrenching it turned out to be it helps them to develop as people.

Wallace has created a page turner, I couldnt put my kindle down for wanting to know if the expedition was a success and did their romance blossom how I thought it might. The dangers within the mountain kept me on the edge of my seat!

My Thoughts: Sea Glass Inn

Title: Sea Glass Inn
Author: Karis Walsh
Publish Date: 8th January 2013
Format: Ebook provided by publisher for review.
My rating: 3 - This book was good =)

From Goodreads:

After a life of wrong turns and lost hope, can true love be more than a bittersweet fantasy?

Melinda Andrews arrives on the Oregon coast with a dream of running the Sea Glass Inn. Still reeling after an unexpected divorce, Mel believes she has missed her chance to find love. All she wants is to make her business a success and regain her independence. She locates the artist who inspired her move so she can commission more paintings for her new inn.

Pamela Whitford runs a gallery in a small seaside town, planning events and supporting other artists while neglecting her own talent. Since being deserted by the love she thought was forever, she refuses to let anyone close enough to hurt her again. But Pam can’t resist the struggling new innkeeper, and she agrees to paint for her even though it means opening herself up to creativity and the vulnerability that goes with it.

Can they learn to trust again and discover a second chance at love?

My Thoughts:
This novel was a pleasure to read, Walsh paints us a story of love, deviotion and understanding. The journey within the story is wrote to be believable and convincing.

The growth and development of the characters is amazing, as Walsh paints the story we gradually become to understand each of them and their emotions which kept me captivated. Within the characters development came the development within their roles in the book, the artist and restoring the old house, it was beautiful to see their talents grow.

I simply couldn't put this book down, page for page I was hooked, wanting to find out what happened in the end would they find love with each other?
